Ivory Adams is not good, not bad. She's a bit rebellious and she cusses like a sailor, but she's not a crimin. She doesn't want to hurt anyone. Her life isn't easy, but it's carefree. All she wants is fun and freedom. Which is ironic, because she gets kidnapped by a young guy named Riley Peters.
Riley is an eighteen year old who works for his father. Riley just graduated high school, and he's ready earned a criminal record. He's an enforcer. He finds people who owe his father. If the people do not pay up, Riley takes them to his father's warehouse where he lets his father decide what to do. When Ivory Adams is his next client, he has to kidnap her, because what she owes is her hand in marriage. It's a deal her father made years ago when he gambled.
Ivory and Riley refuse their feelings towards one another. How could they not? She's just another of his client, and he's her kidnapper. When Riley's father announces that Ivory is to get married, how will he react? Who will she marry?
