Slightly I felt a flicker. A blood curdling scream met my ears. I looked in horror but couldn't find where it was coming from. I looked back and the room sort of changed. The lights dimmed.
"You are not going to last" a presence whispered in my ear giving me chills. I turned around.
What happens when you suddenly find a student without pulse sprawled in the corridor with her best friend panicking over? Of course you become spies. And what happens when you have weird dreams about a guy named cerulean? To that jaylin had no clue. Having a food loving friend and sarcastic mom was not helping either.
Not knowing who to trust or what to believe, the thin line between reality and imagination snapped leaving Jaylin in a place she knew but yet not , a place she was not safe anymore. Would she be able to finally figure out what is going on, will she be able to protect herself and many others from harm?
