All she wanted was the good life. Expensive things, to be seen as beautiful, and for the love of her life to fall in love with her. She had no idea she had the power all along within her to manifest her dreams and desires. Diving into witchcraft was like a fairytale and she was living it. Admits her research into all things magical, she comes across a website dabbling in dark magick and a coven of black witches. They promised everything her heart desires and more. She just needed some blood. At first she ran from the idea, but when things aren't going as planned, she agrees.
She was never told of the dangers of blood magick and now she was on the run from witch hunters determined to burn her at the stake. When things go from bad to worse and her new fiancé is found dead in their apartment, she's put on trial for the gruesome events that took place in those short months.

He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true.
