❝We shouldn't try to figure out every single thing in the world. Why does this happen, how does it happen? Why can't we just be content with being? Instead, the way our eye perceives color is explained, and how Earth was first formed, and everything. We fill ourselves with knowledge so much that something has to be emptied in order to make room for knowledge. So, our soul is poured out. Our appreciation for natural things are gone, thrown away. Our thirst for knowledge overcomes us. The world is a perplexity, let it stay like that. It's more beautiful that way.❞ We were made to live, not to observe. Marley Aspen knows first-hand what it's like to just get by, but to live, that's far out of her reach. Well, that is until befriending the new-girl, Sierra Ryder, shows her how to. But in unexpected twists and turns, Marley learns there is always more underneath the surface, and she gets more than she bargained for. Cover by: @leena-jTerminé
