"Keeper of the Scale" is getting a makeover!
I've been working on a new version of my previously self-published novel, Keeper of the Scale, for awhile now -- and it is ready to be re-released and introduced here as a serial on Wattpad!
It will have a new look and a new name, but the same quirky characters and story line, revised based on wonderful feedback over the years from readers all over the world, and the recent opportunity to work with a talented editor.
Keeper of the Scale enjoyed previous success as an Indie novel, and now, it's ready for a new life and new audience as well! I'm sharing a brief synopsis of it here and will be uploading chapters on a weekly basis. Be sure to follow me at @Debwriter for updates!

The Arrangement
Kirsten never has time for love and romance. She spent all of her time studying in college and when she got out into the working world she devoted her life to her job. She has made a few close friends that she hangs out with and that's the extent of her social life. Her family (especially her mother) all give her a hard time about her love life or lack there of. When her baby sister gets engaged they really put the pressure on her since she will now be the only one that isn't "settled down" yet. To appease her family, she decides to bring a date to her sister's wedding. The only problem is she has no idea who she is going to find. Her friends help her find someone and the person they pick is the complete opposite of Kirsten. What will happen? Will Kirsten give love a shot? Do opposites really attract? From the book... Ellie has been not-quite-flirting with her housemate’s friend Mia, and not really thinking too much about it, until one day Mia offers to follow through on the flirting. Ellie is surprised, but decides she’d like to try, and slowly a relationship begins to evolve. Mostly a physical relationship, and a confused relationship, but it seems to work for both of them.
