A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? After the fallout of Darkstalker's grab for power, Pyrrhia as a whole has taken a collective sigh of relief. The nightwings have finally been able to, more or less, settle within the dense rainforests, and the icewings have gone back to upholding a strained peace treaty. This has left many of Pyrrhia's inhabitants attempting to return to their daily lives, with some searching for new meaning in them. Winter is one such soul who tries to return to the normalcy of his scavenger research. At that same time, Qibli is grappling with the events of the Darkstalker conflict and his new relationship with Moon. One thing leads to another, and Winter is compelled to assist Qibli in a new prophecy being unraveled before their very eyes. It will be a test of character, of friendship, and of love.
