Kara Lily King had to make a sacrifice in her young life which resulted in breaking two hearts, her own and the only boy she ever loved Tony Mitchum. Tony Mitchum and Kara Lily meet after many years but what was once love now has turned into hatred. Can the misunderstandings of the past be resolved? Can love blossom again? And can past mistakes be forgiven? *** ''Honey, a few seconds more and we would have more than just touching.'' I replied cockly raising my eyebrows to proof the point. She came straight for me and was about to slap me again but I caught her hand and then the other. ''Now you don't have to use violence as an excuse to touch me babe. Just say It and I'm all yours. That's the one thing that we can't deny, this....'' Before she could react I crushed my lips against hers. Damn I missed her. Her lips was closed but I forced them open with my tongue. She struggled for a few seconds then her arms were around me ,leaning her body into mine. That's all I needed, I devoured her mouth. I put all those missed years into that kiss. This was never an issue between us. This was always something we had. She could deny me many things but this she never could. It was to overwhelming, to intense. The want was like a drug, her reaction was my undoing. Please note: I don't own the cover to my story

A story in which everything that could go wrong, does go wrong. "Got any sevens?" He softly asked, his gaze on me as he waited for my reply. Ignoring the temptation to meet his captivating green eyes, I puckered my lips as I focused my stare on the cards in my hand. "Go fish." There was a tense pause. I sensed his movements beside me as he bypassed the cards on the ground. I looked up to question him, but the words got caught in my throat. I gasped taking in the features of his face that was now inches away from mine. I had never noticed the few specks of gold in his green eyes before. My heart raced as his gaze flicked to my lips and back to my eyes. Then, without hesitation, his lips were on mine and my brain turned to mush. Wren Matthews, a struggling college freshman, had faced a lifetime of neglect and hardship from her family. Just as she thought she couldn't endure any more, life threw her another curveball. She tried to bounce back repeatedly, but starting over wasn't easy. Amidst the chaos, one constant emerged. Eli Parker, a dedicated sophomore whose passions for basketball and music defined him. For Eli, life revolved around the rush of the court and the tranquility of melodies which kept him centered. Yet he discovered there's much more to life when one physics class changes everything. Paired together for a semester-long science project, Wren and Eli's relationship as science partners grows from that to study buddies, to friends, then to something... deeper. Their bond weathers complications that tested their resolve. As their connection deepens, a dangerous game of unspoken questions unfolds, leaving one lingering question: Whose Fault? . . .
