A fictitious account of Can and Demet's life after EK. Beware of the angst and I touch on the serious subject of high functioning depression, maybe even a little on post traumatic stress syndrome. However, the general overture is moving on past the sensationalism of virtually living with the most magnificent someone for over a year and how you cope afterward.
I do not own the rights to any pictures, lyrics or poetry I have included in my myopic storyline.

ME Survivor (Book 3)
17 million people around the world suffer from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis or ME and it is incurable and untreatable. The disease is called ME but Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or CFS is the name the CDC gave it. Doctors for the most part think that it is all in our heads; well it's not. ME is a neuro-immune disease that affects every aspect of your life. Diagnosed originally in September of 2012, this author was bedridden from October 2013 through August 1, 2015. this author couldn't go past her own back yard and that's on an extremely good day, her life came to a stand still and she couldn't move forward. In June of 2013, she graduated with her MBA and was supposed to start her Ph.D in early 2014 but that was not to be. In this batch of poems, this author hopes to show others that they aren't alone in this. She hopes that people will come together to raise awareness for this miserable illness. Her personal story of her life with ME can be found in the first chapter of this book in video form. The cover is of the Survivor Tree at the 9/11 memorial that this author took in 2011. NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ERKENCI KUS
This is a different type of Erkenci Kus story. The characters are familiar, but their interaction has changed from the series, and quirky funny things happen. I have read one story where Sanem had special powers and she will have different ones in this version. There is a difference from the other version. I hope this will be a fun filled story. I apologize if any details are similar to any other story. I try hard to write from my imagination only, except of course ideas from the series. I have no affiliation to Erkenci Kus, the cast, or anyone else involved with the series. I am just a fan, only. Please overlook, any mistakes, long drawn out sentences, or misspellings. It's been so, so long since I've even thought about writing fanfiction but I've recently been inspired by the amazing Erkensci Kus, the Turkish romcom. Some of my writing will remain canon, others will depart from the canon episodes and I'll add my own, mostly from Can's perspective. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Terminé
