The top of the High School Repuchain™ is where everyone wants to be, but only few are. These few just happen to be Roman Castillo, Patton Valentine, Logan Sanders, and their friend Veronica. On the bus to school one day, one of the earliest days of the year, Patton meets Virgil Jensen, who just might be one of the only people who doesn't want popularity.
But that might just come to him when he makes the decision to sign up for the school's after-school play, a production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's hit musical: Hamilton. And being one of the main characters in said play may either come out as a benefit for Virgil, or the exact opposite. Only time will tell.

This was why he only had one friend, Patton, who he could really confide in. Virgil was as angry as he was anxious about life, and both sides of him could get extreme. Unhealthily extreme. Roman had a complicated mind, and his thoughts were much louder than normal. If there were one word to sum him up, it'd be 'confused.' Though he keeps a smile on at all times, his mind constantly interferes with his attempts at simply being happy.
