thousands of years ago, the first men, alongside the children of the forest defeated the white walkers, the army of the dead. for a time, the northerners believed the moral enemy to be gone forever, but fate suggested otherwise. an ancient prophecy traveled about the north, claiming that the white walkers would return, stronger than ever. however, the prophecy also spoke of a savior, born with power unlike anything before. the one spoke of, would be born human, with wolves blood in their veins and power that could only be truly unleashed by a song of ice and fire. but alas, as the millenniums passed, the prophecy and stories of the white walkers became scarcely heard myths.

lyarra stark, the eldest daughter of eddard and catelyn stark, and twin sister of robb stark, was the definition of a true northerner. winterfell was her home, and she could never dream of leaving. however, from a young age, mysterious energy and the voice of a long lost enemy haunted her mind. thus, when her father takes the position as hand of the king to King Robert Baratheon, lyarra departs from her beloved home in search of answers. but when pain and agony come for the stark family, will lyarra have what it takes to survive?
