Warning: MAJOR spoiler alert if Allegiant has not yet been read (honestly, I don't blame you) ~*~Okay, so the ending of Allegiant, after Tris died, left me pretty disappointed. Actually, I felt like the whole last book was a betrayal between the reader-writer contract. I decided to write an alternate ending after David shot Tris to help myself "cope" with Allegiant. Not that this is any better, but I'm sharing this anyway ( plus I really need to post something else on here, even if it is only one page )

Note: If you haven't read Allegiant by Veronica Roth, this story contains spoilers!! ALLEGIANT - ALTERNATE ENDING. The story starts at chapter 49 when Tris encounters the death-serum. He stays strong for the people on the outside, while on the inside he is broken and lost without Tris. Allegiant Alternate Ending
Like so many others, I was not happy with the way Allegiant ended. I thought Veronica Roth did a beautiful job of writing Tobias's perspective after Tris's death, but I felt like her death was meaningless because it could have been avoided. Having her die because she forgot her gun in the hallway was an insult to her character. Tris was way too smart for that. I needed their happy ending as well as one that did the characters justice. Allegiant - alternate ending
The Allegiant ending was not so bad but it made me empty. There were two reasons why I did not like it. Firstly the sacrifice as it is now seems useless to me. For Caleb it was more another grief than help (not thinking about Four...). And the second is the fact that they still didn't solve anything. There was no use of her divergence, if this did not help the word to become better, to find a solution for all these people from the fringe ... I really don't think that her mother would be happy is the story would ended like this. All characters all belong to Veronica Roth, but I changed/added some parts! At the beginning I did only minor changes in existing chapters, but then everything is new. THIS STORY CONTAINS ALLEGIANT SPOILERS! Thank you so much for the reads, votes, and comments!!! This is how I think Allegiant should have ended. They deserved a life. And family. They went through too much. So here is my idea of how it should have ended: Tris prior survived the weapons lab and tobias saved her. What will they do now? Will they live in peace now that the factions have been reinstated? What happens when a new group called the defiant start preparing fOr a war? The friends and family they thought dead start showing up alive. How? Who else is alive? What happens when a little bit of family shows up in tobias' life. What happens when a girl shows up tris never thought she would meet? Can they really trust the defiant? What will tris and Tobias do now that they also have a family to look after. Can they ever really be safe? All rights to Veronica Roth. She kills David before he can kill her and releases the serum. Soon after, she moves into the city with Tobias and some of the other refugees. They find out that they will be expecting but the plan for a family is cut short when they are kidnapped, brought to The Milwaukee Experiment, and are wiped of their memories. Tris' memory is spared due to her divergence but no one knows. She will have to escape the city with the ones she loves in order to create a lasting future for her and her child. With some bumps in the way... {DISCLAIMER} This is a fanfic and it is based off of the book and movie series The Divergent Series which is written by Veronica Roth. This fanfic starts after the last book of the series Allegiant. I created a few characters but most of the characters in this fan fiction I do not own. All rights go to Veronica Roth for her amazing series. - This is the very first story I've ever written on WattPad so it's very very poorly written and definitely not how I write now.
