My limited world has no diversity everything is always the same, our expressions are the same, our clothes, our houses, our wants and needs, and our hearts, trapped in our own lives with no way to release our desperate wanting to go somewhere else, someplace new.

Dirty, nasty, disgusting that’s how Ribbon and her people are treated they are the “Untouchables” and live away from the rest of society. Ribbon is tired of living by the rules bound by her pallid life, until the prince of “Them” comes down with the tempting color and she sees opportunities with him she wants, she is determined to change her dirty life and hopes that Mhat her arranged husband understands that and doesn’t wait for her when she has to make the biggest decision of her life.
