Ryan Wilson was always two things, a introvert and a closeted gay guy having never come out to his family and friends. However, as a college freshman he is awarded a swimming scholarship at the prestigious U.S.C. where he unexpectedly makes a connection with his coach and through a series of events comes to have the courage to accept himself and come out to the world.

Two Olympic competitors, one week. Their similarities and differences push and pull against each other. After a spontaneous saving from the ocean the two find themselves constantly placed into different situations with each other. Their relationship always on a turning point. You can't outrun your problems, and you can't out-swim them either, but it's a hard pill to swallow and Technos drowning underneath it.
