Before the war in the hobbit film Thranduil is having a affair with another male elf and just before the battle Thranduil finds out that he is pregnant. But after the battle Thranduil finds his lover dead. This fanfic starts when he finds his lovers body.
Some days later Filli, and Thorin comes to Mirkwood searching for a new home since their home has fallen. In Thranduil state he let them stay and what happens? Fighting? Romance? Friendship?
