Our story begins in Belzec, a country at war with one of its neighbors, Asca. Belzec is home to two races, the Eres and the Latros. The Eres are the superior race, while the Latros are the inferior ones. The Eres live a better life. There are more advanced, with better technology, more rights for their people and better services. Their children have better education and grow up to be scientists, researchers or doctors to help with the war. The Latros are the ones who bear the brunt of the war. They are the most unprotected, with little food and low quality of education. They do the most labor intensive work and have little to show for it. However, the Latros know that they deserve this hardship. They have to earn their place in the country and their suffering helps to build character, like the one the Eres have. Until one day, when the Eres decide to open up Camp Belzec. A camp for the model Latros citizen. A place for them to lead a better life since they have been role models for their countrymen. A life of more comfort, with food, protection, and opportunities. They deserved this. Or so they all thought.

Alex and only a handful of Gladers escaped the Maze. But at what cost? Is freedom worth it when you have to sacrifice so much? Are they truly free, something feels off. Alex and The Gladers are running for their lives, this time through a shucked up world, the scorching desert and broken cities full of violent humans who have an incurable disease. ******************* "OPEN THE DAMN DOOR YOU UGLY SEWER RAT!" Alex screamed. "Listen to me! I'm trying to save your life. The maze is one thing, but you kids wouldn't last one day...out in the Scorch." He tried to reason. "Watch me!" She spat at him. His face twisted into rage. "If the elements don't kill you, the Cranks will." "Is that a threat or a challenge?" She hissed at him. ************************************************* I want to give all credits to the One and Only James Dashner, and his amazing story: The Scorch Trials (and the rest of his amazing series!) I also want to give credit to the director of the movie franchise, Wes Ball.
