Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? 100 years ago during a solar eclipse a strange light fell to the earth. No one knows if that light fell from the heavens all that is known is destruction shortly followed. On that day humanity found itself at the mercy of a deadly virus. The world was brought crumbling to its knees. The surviving humans found refuge from the virus in vaults made originally for containment of human experiments. This virus sent the world into an apocalyptic stone age. 50 years after the virus humans around the globe began to develop anomalies in their bodies causing strange mutations. Those who had been affected by this mutation were no longer recognizable. They were monsters rampaging through the devastated world. That is until a strange case where a woman was infected but did not mutate. She was thought to have been the cure. Little did they know she was actually the cause for the world we live in today. That's right she was the first, Tina Primrose, the virus eventually seemed to died off as the descendants of Tina became hunters who'd hunter their brethren with the abilities gifted to them through the blood of Tina Primrose. Then there was the war between the remaining humans and those monsters. Naturally the humans won with our aid. Life was fine as we rebuilt the world until the day of our betrayal. The new government formed by the humans banished us from this world and we were hunted down. The last surviving members of the Primrose bloodline were two siblings. A Boy named Dakota Isaragi Primrose and his sister formed a group known as L.U.N.A. An Organization dedicated to those who have been born with the cursed bloodlines to find solace. The government attacked the organization but to save his brethren Dakota struck a deal with the Government to spar the lives of the members of the organization if he turned himself over to the government. Sadly, he was also betrayed. His brethren slain and his memory wiped the government believed they'd won but, the battles only just begun.

Unbeknownst to humans, there is an invisible world just beyond their own where Mother Nature and Father Time work together to keep the earth in balance; however, when a prediction is made that a threat to their world will rise, its up to Mother Nature's daughter, Terra, to stop it. Preview: "Aqua!" Terra cried as she ran to her badly injured sister. She quickly fell to her knees and cradled her sister in her arms. Her whole body was littered with burns, cuts, and bruises. It looked as if she had beaten to a pulp. Her eyes began to flutter open. She gasped and tried to get away from Terra until she realized that it was Terra. "Terra?" Aqua croaked out in a hoarse voice. "Yes, Aqua, it's me. Don't worry I will get you out of here." Terra reassured as she began to gently help Aqua sit up. "Terra, where is Aura?" Aqua asked in a raspy voice. Terra paused and thought for a minute. Where was Aura? "I don't know. She actually led me here, but I don't know where she went." In order to keep them contained, North America creates an arena, a sort of gladiator battle, imprisoning the Unnaturals there and forcing them to fight to the death. And for the humans out there - make one mistake, and you'll be in there with them. Joel has made that mistake. He was caught unintentionally helping an Unnatural escape. Now he finds himself thrown into a world that's completely different from what he was told, and learns two very important things. These Unnaturals are just as human as he is. Flash forward to many years later when the final action takes place for that savior to be born. Meet Raven Madison. Raven isn't an ordinary girl. From the second she was born she was given a power that could literally save or destroy the world. Due to unfortunate events of her past, her life wasn't the greatest. Right before she was adopted at age ten, she lost all her memories. After the adoption life seemed as normal as possible, besides a few fractured memories of her forgotten past. At the age of seventeen, she now goes by Rae and her only worries are trying to please her parents while also trying to live life the way she wants, forget these recurring nightmares, and survive life at her new school. At her new school, The Academy for the Gifted, Rae is faced with a few challenges by trying to survive high school like any other normal teenager with her two best friends. But in this new school with these new kids and friends, her past is starting to come back and because of it, she has to deal with new problems while also trying to figure out who she really is and the truth behind those fractured memories. -------------------------------------------------------- There is some swearing in this book so you have been warned.
