He was sent to an old abandoned house. He can't remember why. He also can't remember his name, but oh well. Also, the house is apparently slightly sentient and likes to mess with its occupants. It has also decided that he is now its newest occupant. So now he's locked in the creepy house with no way to get out, and no clue if anyone will come get him. Oh, and it turns out there's some weird creature in the house too, and it just might want to eat him. So yeah, his life's going great right now.
