Russetbone has taken over leadership of Lightningpack, but now that they've left their old territory in order to escape the horrible memory of the battle, they must find new land. In order to do that they have to make it past aggressive packs that are larger and stronger than themselves. They need to find new wolves for their pack but after Owl betrayed them, they're wary of trusting any new recruits. Not only that, but Russetbone is unsure of her leadership skills. Can she be a good enough Alpha? Will she be able to lead her pack to a new territory? Will she be able to trust the new wolves in her pack? Will they be able to make it past the enemy packs and most of all, will their pack continue to survive as they did when Icyeyes was Alpha?
