[COMPLETED] Despite being sheltered all throughout her life by her adoptive mother Kendra Snow, secrets from Cassie Lyra Lee's true past were bound to eventually arise. Initially, all Cassie knew about herself was that she was adopted, magic circulated through her veins, she had a pretty cool shape-shifting ability that wasn't common among children her age, and she had a long five-inch long scar going up her left forearm whose background was a mystery.

With Kendra's devotion to a unbreakable vow that was made when the young metamorphmagus first arrived, Cassie grew up a semi-normal life without any true interest in her state-of-being before her arrival to the Snow household. Not until Cassie's fifth year was when everything began to truly change, when a notorious murderer named Sirius Black broke out of prison and Kendra unintentionally began to shove Cassie towards questions she never asked before.

[COMPLETED] Having just grotesquely lost her mother to a fate of torn flesh and dangling intestines, seventh-year Hogwarts alumni Aspen Lee was left shattered and broken: a Pandora's Box for morbidity, rather than customary teenage spitfire. Her life grew stagnant and her stability was perpetually distorted. Her relationships tainted with sickness and death, remnants of what her mother obstinately left behind. She avoided doltish behavior and lived perpendicular to the 1970s era of frivolous disobedience and instability. Her attempts to stay separate only appeared to attract the most perculiar of sorts. Her life's next drastic turn of events occured in the aftermath of an idiotic stunt perpetuated by the notorious Marauders. Sirius Black, in particular, was a boy on the run. On that run, he ran directly into a particular girl with colorful wristbands and a tear-stained porcelain face. Ergo, both teens divulged into a whole new world of chaos and picturesque exploits that would leave them forever yearning for a shared place in this new complex relationship with life.
