The waves chaotically crash against the precarious cliffs beckoning the distant glances of the townspeople to take a dive. The day was typically bleak and mundane with just a streak of ambience from the newly placed bench at the park. Children groaned and despaired at the approaching school week and parents sighed with repetitive exhaustion. Nonetheless the people of the small depressing town trudged on throughout their daily lives no matter how boring and lifeless they were.
In the middle of the bleakness that encompassed the town a child stood amidst it all. Staring emptily at the horizon beyond the crashing waves.
