Although she struggles economically with it just being just her and her mother, it didn't stop her from planning her senior trip with her best (and only) friend. Many girls are going to things like the Caribbean or Paris, but Elizabeth has only one place she wants to go. 

The International Comic-Con in San Diego. 

The reason she wants to go? 

They are offering tickets to see the Marvel Panel that would feature actors, screenwriters, and directors. During their time at Comic-Con, she meets Thomas Stanley.

What will happen to the two?
