That's not to say that handicapped kids aren't regular kids, no, the irregular part comes when he gets taken to an alien planet in the future and gets superpowers. Ya see, after Tyrus' accident he goes from basketball star to video game star and his best game is First Strike! A while ago the question of what if an alien is so cute, a straight guy can't help but still fall in love depite the alien being male, came to me. And of course, the idea for a new story was born soon thereafter.
