Lucas the Lucario has watched the transformation of his life. His little group of friends, how much it's evolved. It just went from him, his best friend, a sassy snake, and kind kitten, and a doctor-like dragon to- well, almost a clan.
And he loves every single one of them, with all his heart. He would do anything for them, even if he just plays it cool and doesn't show it that often.
But oh, he's just the cool friend. The kind soul. The person who would keep all your secrets if you told him, and never say a word to anyone else. There's nothing TO dramatic going on with him.
It's not like he has the secret safety of all of them currently forced into his hands or anything.

When nothing is as it seems, how is she supposed to distinguish between what's real and what isn't? Say....feelings about a certain potions professor that she can't seem to stay away from? As the secrets and mysteries pile up around her while her past threatens to expose itself, Aurora will have to overcome insurmountable odds and decide who she can trust as her life hangs in the balance. After all, sometimes things aren't about doing the right thing, but doing what needs to be done. This story takes place during the events of The Goblet of Fire. Soulmate AU with a bit of a twist, since happy endings don't necessarily last forever. Note: This is a rough draft, and the first round of editing changed the POV from first to third person. "Grab that plate and throw it on the floor." I told him, handing him a plate. "Why am I---" "Just do it!" I yelled, trying to hold back the tears. He looked at me and took the plate from my hand, making careful moves so he didn't touch the tips of my fingers. "Throw it on the ground." I told him. I watched as he threw it down on the ground, pieces of one of my moms plates going everywhere. "Okay. Now what?" He asked me, a hint of impatience in his voice. I walked up to him so we were old inches apart, our noses almost touching. It would be so easy to just kiss him right now.... "Now say your sorry." I whispered to him, letting a tear slip. I felt his gentle hands wrap around me and pull me in closer. Our foreheads touched as he whispered the faithful words, "I'm sorry." I pulled away from him, making sure I didn't cut myself on the sharp shards of glass. "Did it go back to the way it was before?" I asked him, angry tears rolling freely down my face now.
