When I first played Undertale, I was really sad for all the monsters. When I got to Asgore, I wanted to sacrifice myself. I wanted him to have my soul, I wanted him to use it to get everyone I had grown to love out. But Toby Fox didn't let me. So then I just tried to talk Asgore out of it. But I found out that the only way was to fight. I wasn't happy about that.
There is more to this story, it all happened before this point. So if anyone wants to see it, I'd be happy to write it. Just let me know. I hope you enjoyed... & cried.

Remembrance - An Undertale Story-DISCONTNUED
Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. He had his optimistic, egotistical brother, Papyrus, his mysterious friend in the RUINs, Grillby, the bartender at his favorite place to stay, and many other buddies and acquaintances he'd made over time. But one day, when the friend from the RUINs makes a strange request of Sans, he couldn't help but give her his word and make a promise. However... When he sees the subject of his promise exit the RUINs- A strange, wayward, dust-covered human- Sans questioned whether he'd be able to stay true to his word.
