Owl eyes litter the evergreens of Nowhere, infecting the dark of the night. A frigure lurks outside the forest walls, waiting, collecting fireflies in a jar. The manor rests upon the hill, with bugs having tea parties and a doctor spilling his killing medicine.

To undo a curse, a dying swan fairy must prevent the flesh-eating monsters within a hidden realm from being unleashed on humans. .˚⟡ ࿐ Ugly. Cursed. Diseased. With mottled skin and ongoing illness, Elowen is shunned by her village and taunted by the local children, despite her attempts to appear like them. Still, she dreams that one day they will accept her as their own - that is, until she is kicked out of their community into the eerie forest outside her home. With a curse weaved over her heart, death is almost certain for Elowen. After learning her mother was one of the swan fae, she learns that she is slowly being poisoned by the air in the human realm. She must return to the Shaded Realm twice a day to remain healthy. But monstrous creatures lurk in this hidden realm with a taste for both fairy and human flesh. And they seem to have found a way to enter the human realm. It isn't enough for Elowen to discover the cause of the increasingly fragile border between realms. She must find a way to defeat the monsters themselves. |⟡. Cover by @ToWolfKin |⟡. Updates on hold
