Alec Lightwood is in his senior year of high school and a lot happens in the last few months.  On one particular day after a party, Alec decides to walk home to calm his hangover. As of recent, there have been a lot of strange murders. All killed horribly and drained of blood. Alec decides to walk home on a bad day. He runs into the (or one of) murder and get stabbed. After seeing a bright blue light and blacking out he finds himself in an apartment. 
Here is where he meets Magnus Bane.
Why did Magnus save him? Why was he so nice? Why is he so attractive? Will Alec find out these answer? Will he like them? 
Will Alec and Magnus become more than what Alec thought?
