The Bewildering Paradox

This story follows a boy called Jake, who seems to be falling out of touch with reality. For the past few days, his sleep schedule becomes almost similar to a nocturnal animal, and his thoughts are left to himself. During the late hours of the night, he begins to question his own existence, and tries to put as much thought into whether he is actually real or not before he returns to the most dreaded place of hell; school. Whether you believe he's simply losing his mind is up to you, but you can never deny every possibility, as there is a possibility for almost everything out there in the world.

(Just a quick message: This is basically the first time I've tried to write properly, so please go hard on me if you have any criticism. Just make sure the criticism is constructive, because I would like to find out whether writing is actually for me or not. Anyway, without further ado, I present to you: The Bewildering Paradox).
