Here's a little sneak peek for you: "Mommy! ... What do we do now??" I wailed. It was chaotic, fire everywhere, and bodies of motionless cats that just could not escape. I felt a harsh tug on the back of my scruff as I was lifted up. Curious and very shaken up, I turned my head to look at who picked me up and asked, "Do you have an idea?". She replied, "Yes. Though we need to get out of here." With that, we were off dashing through what looked like fiery hell. Suddenly, a branch that was on fire stopped us in our path. Mama swerved away from the flaming branch and towards the river. Hopefully we could make it to Sapphireclan's border. "Just a little while longer my kit..."Mama panted. I could tell she was near an anxious breakdown so I tried to stay silent and not be much trouble. We were so close to the border! I could see the river right up ahead. Unexpectedly, a dark shadowy figure appeared in our path. It looked to be a cat about twice the size of my mother. We quickly came to a halt as my mother put me down and told me to stay behind her. "But why mommy...? Maybe they can help us!" I asked. "They won't." She replied sternly. I gulped and stood there with my tail between my legs.
