Emilyn and Liduen are two Elf siblings, living a quite normal life in Ellesméra other than the ability to communicate to each other through thought, until they attend their first egg festival. There, they become the latest of the new Dragon Riders, to be trained under the guidance of Eragon on the desolate island of Ragnigaësia, Land of Rivers. How will the two siblings, only 8 and 7 years old, survive the difficult training to become a rider, and when the time comes, will they be able to defeat an age-old evil, just waiting to be awakened?
