Makoto had always loved video games, so when his sister Miku asked him to teach her about MMO's he jumped at the opportunity. When Kayaba Akihiko announced the first ever VRMMORPG to be played on the Nervegear, both Makoto and Miku jumped at the opportunity to get copies.
When Miku's copy failed to arrive, Makoto graciously offered to let Miku try his copy first. Unbeknownst to either of them, once one entered the world of Sword Art Online, they would never be able to log out again until all 100 floors of Aincrad had been defeated.
Tortured by what he did to his sister, Makoto takes a dangerous gambit in order to get her back.
Originally written as a short story for NaNoWriMo 2017, now being reformatted into a full fan fiction light novel
