Makoto had always loved video games, so when his sister Miku asked him to teach her about MMO's he jumped at the opportunity. When Kayaba Akihiko announced the first ever VRMMORPG to be played on the Nervegear, both Makoto and Miku jumped at the opportunity to get copies.
When Miku's copy failed to arrive, Makoto graciously offered to let Miku try his copy first. Unbeknownst to either of them, once one entered the world of Sword Art Online, they would never be able to log out again until all 100 floors of Aincrad had been defeated.
Tortured by what he did to his sister, Makoto takes a dangerous gambit in order to get her back.
Originally written as a short story for NaNoWriMo 2017, now being reformatted into a full fan fiction light novel

The Miya brothers became famous in high school. Almost everyone into high school volleyball had heard of their incredible combo. They were a pair to be feared and had canceled out every team in their prefecture. They were the pride of Inarizaki High... and they were only second-years. Suzume grew up playing volleyball with her brother. She was right-handed, but after being so inspired by her brother, she was determined to make herself just like him. After ruthless hours of training relentlessly, she managed to achieve a higher level of volleyball and has climbed the ranks to now be one of the best high school power spikers in the nation. She had attended Shiratorizawa all her life, however after things blow up with her volleyball team at the end of her first year, she decides that she can't stay there any longer.
