That's all it really was. An empty room. Devoid of any color, expression, or individuality. Completely blank.
All except for the being sitting crosslegged at its very center. If not for the pitch black eyes it too would have become one with the void.
What is it exactly?
Where did it come from?
What does it want?
The flurry of questions brimming Dr. Eldris' mind were innumerable. He wasn't altogether sure how or why he was chosen for this project, but there was no turning back now.
With a panel of doctors and researchers waiting in the wings for results, and a director with high expectations, there would be results.
No matter the cost.
