Mackenzie has lost everything, everything but her families old cabin that is surrounded by thick, dense trees. Having grown up in California, she hates anything to do with snow and winter, and now she finds herself alone, in a cabin surrounded by snow in the dead of winter, and to make matters worse, there is something strange about the town and those that inhabit it, especially the wolf with the green eyes.
What will happen when she discovers the towns secret? Will she find peace and finally be able to heal from losing those that she loved most? Or will she leave more scarred than when she came?
