Kaminari hurt himself when trying to save Jiro, now as his reward he's currently residing in the hospital. He can't remember what happened or how he got there, but he knew he saved Jiro. The only problem is, he isn't doing all that well.
As for Jiro, she's not doing much better. She feels guilty for being the cause of his injuries. She can't accept what happened because it was all her fault
