She's always been broken.
Adele Calamity, her mother named her Adele- meaning nobility. She named her with high hopes she would live a bright future. But unfortunately, her second name was the decider.
Calamity.
she lives her life a hallucination. Docusa , a life long mental disorder she was cursed with from the age of 17. She believes the world is out to destroy her as their number one victim, the voices that seem to follow her are the only company she can manage to keep. Sometimes so loud, conversations seem to die away as she mutters unintelligible words. When the voices are quiet her mind is else where from the conversation. Perhaps with her boyfriend down at the bar while he cheats on her with another woman. Maybe with her parents in their elderly home. Even with her half brother in jail.
She's mad. Violent and angry. She can't place her thoughts. She doesn't know what's wrong with her, refusing to see a doctor. She believes they are a waste of time.

❝There is nothing wrong with me. It's everyone else that needs help ❞

Adele is the wreck of the town, making a name for herself, becoming the serial killer to be afraid of, and everyone's a victim. She finds satisfaction in the art of murder, and she's only ever encouraged by the voice in her head. Until finally karma makes a stand.
