His Legacy

23 years have passed since the end of the Orc War. Hominum prospers. Without the threat of invasion, elven conflict or dwarven rebellion, all thanks to the benevolent rule of King Harold, the Empire has discovered new lands beyond the desert and sea, forming new alliances and learning about new demons. The world is at peace.

And yet, conflict remains. In the independent Principality of Hovalli, Dorien Hovat, estranged adopted brother of Kin Harold himself, rules in his own right. He juggles the roles of Prince, husband, father and diplomat, a struggle made harder by the disappearance of his children, and a noble from a far away land. He must put aside his familial differences with the King and combine resources with the empire he has seceded in order to prevent war from threatening his home once more.
