After Patton is murdered, chaos wreaks havoc upon the mindscape. Virgil no longer has his father figure to help him. Roman doesn't have a supportive audience. Thomas will never see his Morality again.

But Logan is probably the worst of them all.

You see, when a side dies, their powers and purpose get pushed onto the last side they talked to before they died. And when the sides found the dead body of Patton, it was Logan who held him during his last few minutes on this earth.
