Look Me In the Eyes

In this world there's only humans, no other species, the one thing that splits them apart from others is their eyes, eyes include, lion, tiger, bear, wolf, fox, deer, dragon, cat, etc.(they look like the eyes of that specie's eyes) Nathaniel, a young kid, is born with a mutation, an ugly one at that, his mutation changed his family eye of bird to demon. No one can stand to look at his face, barely anyone will even talk to Nathaniel. Kids don't pick on him, they don't call him names, they just avoid him at all costs. No one wants to be friends with a boy who's eyes look like those of a demon, no one besides him and his mother has seen his eyes. Nathaniel, in this lonely world, has to live his life with this trait, but he lives day by day, finding ways to be happy, till a new kid comes around.
