Carlin Tatum witness a murder in the back alley by her coffee shop which puts her life in jeopardy, through a dangerous accident Carlin meets Dawson Cage, an ex military infantry soldier who becomes a close friend when all normalcy in life fades. Despite numerous attacks against Carlin she still tries to live the best life she can while keeping her business afloat, keep her family safe but still be active in their lives, and most importantly stay alive.
