Phosphenes

The world is a beautiful place, but it comes with hardships. There is pain and flaw. When we are young, we don't realize this. We see the world with eyes of wonder and innocence. But one day, you start to grow up and watch more of the world's secrets unravel. You rub your eyes and are met with phosphenes. The lights are blinding, as they reveal the true colors of this earth.
