Life goes no for Perseus Jackson, the boy from District 4. When his brother gets chosen for the Games, he has to volunteer. Which one will he pick? Would the Capitol change him, or will he stay himself until the end?
Annabeth Chase is a whole different story, however. She wasn't chosen for the Games on accident. It was on purpose. She has a plan, and her plans always work. But will this one? She knows a deadly secret only a few know in Half-Blood Panem. But this secret is huge.

One day, Annabeth is sitting in on one of her father's court sessions and Percy is brought in, beaten bloody.
