the world of remnant was by far not peaceful, with wild grim running around like animals, and the conflict with humans and faunas, it doesn't help that, a new group of people with a special gene are ravaging the world, not lawful like the huntsman, but not particularly evil either, but with how the huntsman see these people, they do everything they can to hunt them down
(this story is a little after season 3 of ruby, if the fall of beacon never happened.

Princess and the witch
World of remnant, a world without magic, semblance or any grimm. Instead of that there are knights, kings, queens and obviously princesses and princes. But there is a legend that said: people with silver eyes were able to use magic. People were frightened of them and called them witches. Whenever they captured a 'witch' people burned them, so now there are no one left with silver eyes. In the kingdom of Atlas, ruled by its king, there are lots of criminals that knights can't get rid of. But one day a boy, or at least everyone thought that he was a boy, appeared out of nowhere. He wore a red cloak with hood that covered his face completely and had a giant scythe as a weapon. He called himself 'Red reaper' and was fighting against all the criminals. And there was 16 years old Weiss Schnee, second princess of Atlas. To tell you the truth she wasn't a scared little princess waiting for her prince in shining armor to save her, like in fairy tales. One day, Ozpin sent him off on a mission to collect something that he wasn't told of. When he does, it was all a trap by an unknown group. As he's kidnapped, he finds something very old and he becomes someone else completely; an Assassin. He'll soon understand the world more and the words that he always heard but never understood will finally make sense: "Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true.
