Funny enough you had a crush on his older sister. So after beating him black and blue an opportunity finally came - you got to get close to Lyra. Lie after lie you got closer to the female but one thing got in the way. 

Toby. 

His laugh, his smile and the way he looked so smug when he knew he was right. He was handsome. 

As you tried to get closer to Lyra you ended up getting close to Toby, slowly falling for him bit by bit. 

But that is all pointless as he died after the tragic accident of his sister dying in a car crash. For you life was already hell - still living with your abusive uncle and now with the guilt crushing down on you - you couldn't take it.
