* You wake up on a bed of golden flowers, stained with crimson liquid, but you can't think why. You see a gaping hole above you and realized you must have somehow fallen into the mountain. It's not long before you feel excruciating pain in your head, that fall took quite the toll on you. You stumble around cluelessly in an attempt find a way out but something, or rather, someone stops you.
NOTE - Frisk is primarily female in this book, but read it however you want. I'm also new to this so please don't be too judgmental. I am writing this for my friend who has a crush on Frisk so take any mistajes here with a pinch of salt.
(Y/N) - your name, you probably know this but I'm just getting it out the way in case.
POV - Point of view.

Instead of Y/N for your name, I use _______. Why? Because when I'm reading a story and read Y/N I think Y/N and then have to remember the name of the character I've made in my head, where as if I see _____, I immediately replace it with the name because there is no word for me to read. Love it or hate it, comment. I can be persuaded if the masses disagree. 2. I don't do H/C, E/C, etc., because it does the same thing that Y/N does for me. Instead, I will be as vague as I can on insert character descriptions giving the reader more freedom to imagine what they look like without forcing it down their throats. 3. For undertale specifically, I am more inclined to make monster!reader inserts, because that makes more sense to me. This will not always be the case. If the masses prefers human!reader inserts, comment so that I may be persuaded to do so. Also, feel free to ask for requests. The more requests I get, the more inclined I will be to do more stories. They don't just have to be undertale related. [[THIS STORY HAS MENTIONS OF SUICIDE, SELF HARM, AND SEXUAL ABUSE.]] Y/N grew up a normal child. She had normal parents, an annoying younger brother, and good friends. Life was good to her. She wasn't a straight A student, but she got decent grades and was relatively smart. Until she moved out of her parents' house, confident she could take care of herself, by herself. She got a small house in a small neighborhood in Starlight Springs, Colorado, and for the first three months of living there, with a decent job, she was relatively happy. She was an artist as a hobby; people would sometimes commission her online, and she'd make a little extra money. However, three months after she gets her job, she ends up getting fired. Her rent increases around that time, and things go downhill. She calls up an old friend of hers from ninth grade, and she settles in as Y/N's roommate. She was nice at first, until she started getting nosey. She wanted to know where Y/N was at all times, what she was doing, or who she was talking to. Y/N was getting sick of her, but she didn't think she could kick her roommate out without losing the house, so she endured her suffering, continuing to look for a job and draw. One day, she posted one of her art pieces on a Discord server, looking for people to commission her, and in the process, she met a certain man named Fell. --- HIYA! IT'S ME!
