Joanne is a young, jovial girl aspiring to be an artist. Living in the heart of Paris, she pursues her interest in medicine and painting with zeal. She fraternizes with a young boy and an old woman who is running a painting store in Paris. They develop a deep bond but encounters a heart-wrenching separation. She promises them that she will come back for him. But a distressing news shatter her dream. Living in depression, he meets a man, Jo who worked in the same hospital she's working in and immediately falls for him. But he doesn't reciprocate her feelings.  She establishes ties with his family and learns of his melancholic life due to the death of his grandmother. 
Later on, they get married and one-day things go terribly wrong
