I ran a D&D 3.5 campaign for 6 years, having started in 2013. This is that campaign.
We follow a group of big personalities through this strange and fantastical world I've created. Humans are wrestling for their space in the world vs the other races, the nature of magic is well-known and understood by many. Due to the nature of the game from which it was inspired, you'll find there's a bit of everything. I hope Wattpad lets me edit this later, or I will have certainly done anyone who isn't hooked by this description a great disservice.
Worth noting - though I hit "publish" on everything I've uploaded here, that doesn't mean that it's final by any means. Just that I want people to see it :)

Oceanum Collis
"Let me prove to you I am unlike them." Thousands of years ago, there was a faraway land called Oceanum Collis. Many different people lived among each other in peace. Elves, mermaids, werewolves, and humans. After fighting hundreds of wars, the people came to a compromise and started to work together. Realms were united and civilization was born. Oceanum Collis was beautiful and peaceful, but with light comes darkness. The humans felt left out. While the others had magic and great strengths, they were nothing special. A young man, Basil Adelio, found that humans deserved more than to be farmers. But there was more to his plan. He was after the throne, so he could rule all over Oceanum Collis. Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories. Land Of Giants (Discontinued)
*Note: This book is currently discontinued. At this time, I am re-writing it. When I have enough chapters edited and to my liking, I will start posting them on a schedule starting at the end of the discontinued chapters or I'll make a separate book for the new version. If you have questions about, don't hesitate to ask. The roof crashed down at the speed of lightning, crushing me under the table as I gasped for air. My mind scrambling to process what had happened as I felt rubble falling around me, surrounding me in darkness. I reached up, my arm stinging as I hit the hard wood table over me, which was keeping the rubble off me, miraculously. I wiped my forehead, sweat, and probably blood dripping down my arm and side of head as I reached for a nearby rock, trying to push on it, hoping that it might help me out of this disaster. "Mom? Betty?" I called, hoping for a response, only to get none. I didn't even get the slightest whimper from any of them. What the heck happened? "Mom?! Betty?!" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind. Damsel Knight
Sometimes the best knight is a damsel. In a world where women are seen as weak, defenceless creatures for men to protect and own, one orphan girl wants to be different. She dreams of being a knight. Slaying dragons, taking down armies with her father's sword. Only her foster parents don't agree with her views. On the night of her betrothal to a man over twice her age, the King's soldiers come to their tiny village, and in the chaotic aftermath she's left with a choice. Go back to life she knows and marry a man she despises. Or journey onward and risk death to earn the knighthood she dreams of. The road forward isn't a safe one for a girl travelling with only her foster brother as company. Magic lurks in dark places. Vengeance burrows deep in many equally dark hearts. And all around the circle armies are gathering to defend the Kingdom against a threat not seen for a thousand years. This is the first part of the 140 thousand word fantasy adventure.Concluída
The Silent Stalemate
The era of open wars between countries has been replaced by a silent stalemate, and no one wants to start a new war without first gaining a significant advantage. And so, the standard company of quest-takers sets out: a pair of elves (a drow warrior and an elven princess), a dwarf, a mage, a holy man, a human prince, a werewolf, a cunning thief, and a warrior maiden. Who is the main hero among them? Who will survive it all-they don't know, but they are determined to retrieve the artifact that can defeat the Dark Lord. But how do they find the damned thing? In a small village, hidden in the foothills of the mountain range that divides the Dark and Light halves of the world, live ordinary people. They hunt, marry, quarrel-in short, they live their lives. And as fate would have it, it is they who know how to reach the artifact's resting place. The whole story is written from the perspective of one of the cart drivers accompanying the party. And one more thing: Everyone lies.
Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there. Forgotten Darkness
For many a year peace has ruled the Land, but war is stirring.
