"I know I have reasons why I took this case." I reprimanded myself as I watch the council go through the papers. I tried to calm my sweaty hands and played the pens I have on the table. Everyone sat down to their respective seats as an indication that the ruling will start in a while. "The defendant is sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment from this day on, 8th of March 2019. It is ordered that he will be eligible to apply for parole after serving ten years of this sentence." I wasn't able to speak after what I have heard. This can't be true. I have to win this case. I have to. It's for him. I have to win this case for us.
