Alone

Caitlin Merlyn puts on a strong face. She has led the company out of the darkness that her father surrounded it in. The company has been focused on one thing. Rebuilding the Glades. Caitlin has made it clear to the city that she is not her father. Many don't believe her, but she knew that would be the case.

At night, Caitlin continues to do what she can to save the city. They're now accustomed to calling her "Sharpshooter." Everyone wonders why she's alone now, but she tries not to think about him. She's struggling. Even with the help of Diggle and Felicity.

While she makes sure to help rebuild the glades, no one trusts her intentions are good. There are many reasons why, but a big reason was she was doing everything in her power to help Moira Queen when not even her own children would visit her.

But behind all that, Caitlin is hiding the pain she feels. She isn't grieving her brother like she should. She shoves it down. The very few times she is actually home, instead of crying she drinks the pain away. A habit she refuses to let anyone to know about. The fact that her own father did this hurts her. The fact she couldn't stop it, hurts. This is where alcohol helps. The fact that her boyfriend left her, hurts. Alcohol definitely helps.

But now? Oliver is back. Caitlin isn't thrilled. She doesn't want to be anywhere near him, but Diggle and Felicity insist that this is what the city needs. So she shoves it down. She puts on a smile and decides to deal with the man that broke her heart.

Things only seem to get worse when Sara Lance returns, with a part of Caitlin's past that not even Oliver knew about

But when an old enemy returns Caitlin knows she can't ignore Oliver. She needs his help. If she doesn't take his help, she will die. But then again.

It's what she's been asking for.
