Fawn is a human living in the Fae World, Faerie. Stolen away from her parents as a babe, she now lives alone in the Dark Forest, isolated from a distant culture. When she comes upon an injured Fae in the forest, she brings him home to her cottage to heal him. The Fae, Arran tells Fawn that he was running from someone... his own father. Arran stole the sacred sword, Astrithe, from his father and so now he was being hunted. When Fawn slowly falls in love with Arran, she knows that she's now bound to him and won't let him fight his fight alone. In a world where she didn't belong, she will have to find her place. But can she save the one person she loves from his own fate?
