Not many people know this, but long ago God and Satan fell in love. This was before Satan was expelled from Heaven and sent to rule over Hell. Before Satan lost his wings and became synonymous with sin. Before the feud between God and Satan, Heaven and Hell, good and evil. God's and Satan's love seemed it would last forever, it would be undying, and it may have been. It may have lasted, but alas it did not. The two deities became hurt, wanting to hate the other and themselves at the same time. It is true that the line between love and hate is fine and God and Satan learned this. They began to despise the things that reminded themselves of the other, but still wanted to be together. Many will say that Satan is the bitter one, but in truth it was God who became bitter, and rightfully so. God had been so hurt that he wanted to forget everything about Satan, but he couldn't forget the love they shared. Stuck between loving and hating Satan God became hurt and confused and was bitter for a time.
