~Book one in the Elementalists Trilogy~
Seventeen year old Circe Lewis is an Elementalist in a world where those with powers are hunted down and murdered. The "Normals" consider them to be a deadly, dangerous threat against them and will stop at NOTHING to eliminate their whole race. When Circe has an outburst, that ultimately leads to the discovery of her hidden abilities, she finds herself whisked into a life where danger, fear, death, and darkness appear at every turn. Now she must decide whether to sit and watch her life crumble, or stand to protect herself and the others like her.

Though the events in this short story take place before Book 1 in the series, I recommend reading it AFTER you finish "Siena." I think it will be more satisfying that way, because then you'll understand the little Book 1 references I've planted here and there. Finally, the format of the title and cover for this story is different from the rest of the series. That's because I consider this to be bonus material rather than a continuation of the series. It's only 12 chapters long. I may change the cover at some point, but in the meantime, this is what I have. :)Complete
